As time goes on, we're sure to hear more about the new maps, the Battle Pass, and features such as a custom games browser. Of course, we can expect some new maps for the standard multiplayer and Big Team Battle, but no details have been given so far. The new item will shroud players in smoke that hides them from player radar whether they are shooting or not. It won't be an exact copy of the DMR though, and it will still have some close-range functions when you need it most.Īlong with the new weapon, there is also some new equipment in the form of a Shroud Screen. This weapon is similar to the DMR, which the game has been lacking since its launch. There will be at least one new weapon introduced in Halo Infinite Season 3 called the M392 Bandit. But players want more than a new Battle Pass. After the Winter Update, these passes may be based on progressive XP bonuses rather than the current challenge system. Forge and Co-op are the features that have delayed the seasonal content this time, so with those gone, new seasons may be more common. However, the current roadmap is subject to change, and based on the past, it's likely that it could happen again. Season 3 will run until June 27 when we will presumably get the release of Season 4. Like Season 2, there will be an entire content map and Battle Pass themed around the Echoes Within. Starting on March 7, 2023, players can jump into a brand new Halo Infinite Season called 'Echoes Within'. While it's a letdown to have another delay for Infinite, at least 343 has announced an official date for Season 3. ![]()
